How to install Clip In Hair Extensions

Start off by brushing your own hair thoroughly using a soft paddle brush to get rid of any tangles.
Step 1. Starting at the lower back section of your head, use a tail comb or index finger to divide your hair, at the lower back of the head. The first weft should be long enough, so that the weft is wide enough to sit along the back of your hairline. Take your first weft and brush it out before clipping it into your hair. Start from the bottom and work your way up the weft to remove any tangles.

Clip your remaining hair, firmly on the top of your head, to keep it out of the way as you fit the wefts.

Step 2. Starting at the lowest point on the hairline, and using a tail comb or your index fingers, create a part where you wish to section off the hair. Find the centre of your part and clip in the middle clip into the roots of your hair—be sure to clip as close to the roots as possible. (Remember always snap clip on you hair and not on your scalp)To make it easier and to prevent the clip from sliding down too far, try pulling that section slightly away from your scalp to have some leverage, or simply tease it to create a more secure base. Once the middle clip has been clipped in, clip the left side and then the right.
Step 3. Create a new parting from your remaining hair, comb down a layer of hair, with about half an inch or so between each weft layer.  Each time secure the extra hair, on top of your head.
Step 4. Now insert the remaining wefts in the same manner as above.  Repeat the process with a new parting above each weft extension. As usual, brush it out carefully and measure against your head to make sure it will fit perfectly. Find the centre of your head and clip in the middle clip into the roots of your hair first, followed by the side clips. Now, all the large wefts at the back of your head have been clipped in, and only small ones should be left.
Step 5. Insert and position the side pieces so they frame the face and blend with your own hair.  These are the wefts that go on the sides of your hair. They will add volume on the sides and make your hair in the front blends in seamlessly with the longer extensions.
Now you have installed your Lescheveux Studio Clip in Hair Extensions. Run your fingers along the weft to make sure it lies flat against your head along the entire width. If there are any gaps, correct this by snapping the clip open, lifting it off hair and repositioning it so that the weft lies flat. Brush your hair and check in the mirror to make sure that all the wefts are hidden, especially in the back, adjust if necessary
